PRP/VAMPIRE FACIAL WARRINGTON

Vampire facial is the latest trend that you probably heard about from famous celebrities and TV stars. The treatment is actually not as scary as it sounds, and it existed in our world for years.

The vampire facial is also called microneedling with PRP (platelets rich plasma). Platelet-rich plasma consists of two elements: plasma (or the liquid portion of blood), and platelets (a type of blood cell that plays an important role in healing throughout the body). Platelets are well-known for their clotting abilities, but they also contain growth factors that can trigger cell reproduction and stimulate tissue regeneration or healing in the treated area.

Vampire facial is a cosmetic procedure that involves:

  • Drawing blood from your arm.
  • Separating this blood on PRP (platelets rich plasma) and blood by placing into a special machine called centrifuge.
  • Applying PRP back onto your face by using a microneedling pen.

There are many benefits to the vampire facial, including younger looking skin, the turnover of skin cells, reduction of acne scars or sun damage, improvement of skin tone and texture.

Microneedling with PRP is actually becoming a very popular anti-ageing treatment as it reduces fine lines and signs of aging. In addition, this treatment is 100% natural. As PRP is taken from your own body, there are no chances of getting an adverse reaction.

Not at all. We don’t even use numbing cream to numb the area as this is absolutely comfortable treatment. However, if you are a gentle flower, we can offer a numbing cream application.
The PRP treatment should not take more than an hour.
You can have a vampire facial every 4 weeks depending on the skin condition.
You should expect mild side effects, such as redness and a little skin sensitivity straight after the treatment. You would be advised not to wash your face after the PRP procedure and go to bed with the plasma on. Usually the redness calms down the next day.
PRP injections can be effective in treating thinning hair, pattern baldness, both in preventing hair loss and promoting new hair growth.

PRP can also aid in the stimulation of hair growth after hair transplants.
