Tailored for individuals with darker Fitzpatrick skin types, the MandeliClear Peel System is specifically designed to address pigmentation concerns. This unique system can be categorized as a modified Jessner peel, featuring a blend of 7% lactic acid, 7% salicylic acid, and 7% resorcinol, all in an ethanol base enriched with quillaja bark. Additionally, it incorporates 9% mandelic acid, derived from almond and wild cherry sources, with “Mandel” being German for almond. Known for its safety and gentle nature, this peel is well tolerated by a wide range of skin types.
Indications for Skin Types:
- Fitzpatrick I, II, III. Fitzpatrick IV and V may require pre-treatment.
- Effective in lightening pigmentation caused by acne, melasma, or photodamaged skin.Can be repeated every 2-3 months.
Contraindications:
